About Us

Built on Hard Work,
Driven by Craft

D&M Upholstery and Alterations is a locally owned business right here in Nitro, West Virginia. We started with a simple belief: well-made furniture shouldn't end up in a landfill just because the fabric is worn or the padding has given out.

Every piece that comes through our shop gets treated with the same care we'd give our own. Whether it's a vintage chair your grandmother left you, a couch that's seen too many movie nights, or car seats that need a refresh — we take pride in making it look and feel like new.

What Our Customers Say

We let our work speak for itself — but here's what a few of our neighbors have to say.

They brought my grandmother's dining chairs back to life. I didn't think they could look this good — honestly, I almost didn't want to give them back.

Sarah M.
Nitro, WV

Had my truck seats reupholstered and the result was spot-on. Professional, on time, and the price was fair. I'll be back for the couch.

James T.
Charleston, WV

The team was so patient helping me choose fabric for my living room set. They made the whole process easy and the end result exceeded my expectations.
